Contruction Journal ( 2007 )
01/12/2007
I completed my first 15 trees, with some help from my daughter Megan. They looked like a bunch of trees on the piece of styrofoam, but on the layout they barely covered anything. Looks like I need about 100 more just to cover the mountains behind Jasper. I don't even want to think about how many I need in total!

02/23/2007
Working on two separate projects right now.
A lumberyard and a sanding facility

03/25/2007
Completed the Sanding Facility.
Redoing the staging yard, made it offset so that the grade in/out is less.
The lumberyard main building is complete. Still need to build an office, and add scenery, lumber, details, fencing, etc.

04/18/2007
Finished the Lumberyard office, still need to add signs and details.
Started working on a water tower.
04/21/2007
Almost finished the water tower, still working on the rust, ladders and water.
04/27/2007
Started work on a wooden caboose kit from Robert Ray - the ATSF "Widowmaker".

05/20/2007
Almost done with the caboose kit.

06/17/2007
Working on my first complete scratchbuild. It's based off of plans published in the Narrow Guage and Shortline Gazette.
06/23/2007
Made a little more progress on the scratchbuild.
06/25/2007
Initial staining and painting completed.
06/26/2007
Walls together and the base started.

07/22/2007
Finally adding some scenery around the station and icing platform.

08/25/2007

08/26/2007

09/30/2007
